saw this today, Heartbeats. Xaiver Dolan, french canadian babe/wonder child, literally child, i think he's a mere 20 or 21 year old, whom i've mentioned before. really loved almost everything about this film; it was banal, beautiful, and real. at times maybe too real. the lighting, the color, the slo-mo, the sheer beauty of the actors, to the usage of the knife/fever ray, it was all very, for lack of a better word, cinematic. highly recommended.
