moms and pops, not in that order

these are my premature leftovers from years gone by. cherished moments, some subtle, some exuberant, from an assortment places and time. ranging from the north, the middle, and south of CA, new york, berlin, lisbon, copenhagen, stockholm, gothenburg, florence, the 70's, and anywhere between. wanting to share without giving too much away, wanting to love without fear of loss, wanting the light without the dark.

new york i love you, but...

...you're bringin' me down. that's how i have been feeling lately. however, even with the hardships, the hard-working without payoff, and the relentless and unnecessary amount of shit that seems to be piling up, i am still thrilled to be your resident. catching a break, in both a mental and physical sense, is few and far between, but when it happens, it is a lovely treat.
sometimes, after i'm done for the day with my internship, i'll walk the highline, park it on an oversized reclining bench, and take in the sunset and embrace the slight fall chill on my face. and people watch, naturally.
