bonnie & clyde, part one of two

tardy snapshots from a cross country adventure.
anecdotes & film documentation to make an appearance, sooner rather than later, optimistically speaking

seafoam green & electric blue; inn of the mountain gods too much caffeine and penny slots
rain accompanied by the arcade fire & the national

these days

view from my desk, the isolation chamber
a weekend in the vermont countryside is approaching. the change of scenery to be embraced wholly, as this white cube is beginning to suffocate me.

inarticulate

i was there

i was there, drinking vodka sodas, with mccall, who was avoiding people she works with but never really talks to
i was there, in an old church, on the lower east, at a private lcd soundsystem concert, on a wednesday in 2010
he was there. he was the first guy playing Daft Punk to the rock kids. he played it at CBGB's. everybody thought he was crazy. but he's losing his edge.
and his brother was there. (i don't know if that's true, but he looked like he could be)
but, i was there. dancing next to nick zinner. our sweaty limbs grazing each others, his sweet warm breath beating on my left shoulder, as we rocked to the beat.
you all know, i was there, taking pictures that resemble cathedral paintings by monet.
that james murphy he's never been wrong. he knows what we really want.

squares & rectangles

19th street chelsea, and kent street where the lines between williamsburg and greenpoint are vague. misc. dilapidated structures. one in blocks of color, and one dull and deserted in an art deco theme.
