been looking through craigslist "missed connections" quite often lately. i find them sad and romantic at the same time.
sad: is a post on craigslist the way our generation tries to reach out to one another?
romantic: can you imagine if you did stumble upon a post that was describing you? or is that really just another tally for the sad count?
i'm not sure, but either way i find them alluring and intriguing.

look at you, my new handmade sketchbook. you are quite beautiful if i do say so myself. composed of tracing paper that randomly interrupts the bristol paper (thick so that the ink doesn't bleed through). you're vibrant red and yellow cover reminds me of florence, italy, the place in which i acquired you. and the paper that lines the covers, that is a mauve-pink puke color, clashes just right (in my opinion). now all there is to do is draw.

even though it's not even september yet, my summer is coming to a close. just a little over a week and i will be in NYC and i will be doing the opposite of lazy summer day activities, as portrayed here; the beach, scooter rides and walks through the backwoods, poolside activities, ocean views, and mimosas on the patio.

i was going through old photographs (okay, i was being reminiscent) and stumbled upon this one i took in göteborg, sweden. i don't remember what building it is, if anything of vast importance, it's probably just an office building.
